Yesterday, the door bell suddenly rang when i was in my room. I went out and opened the door. So that was Jimmy - my best friend at school.
We played chess on my bed in my bedroom almost the time in the morning. Then we headed to the kitchen and had lunch together with a beef special dish and some beer. It soon became apparent that we were slightly drunk. Jimmy didn't eat all his foods. Then, he walked towards the trash which is behind the door and began to throw out all his left foods. I stopped him in my belief that his behavior (behaviour) was waste of food. I believed that there was a better thing to do than wasting food like that. So I decided to collect the left food in behalf of the homeless. Then, we took a rest for refreshing our body.
In the afternoon, the temperatures remained below freezing. I and Jimmy went down to the local subways and gave out our foods to some homeless people. Finally, we packed our few belongings in my bag before we went back home. We both felt happy because we had done an meaningful action.
